Old Clayton is a large professionally run Kennels and Cattery established in Washington, West Sussex, for over thirty years. Set in four acres of meadowland overlooking the South Downs yet less than half a mile from the A24; a major link road taking traffic from the South coast to London, Heathrow, Gatwick and the M25.

All dogs enjoy regular exercise on our paddock, including time off lead in our enclosed grass play run.

Our fully trained and experienced team of staff maintain complete dedication to the care and well being of all animals that stay with us. Alongside our boarding kennels and cattery, we also offer a wide range of additional services including dog training, grooming and re- homing rescue dogs. We also have fully qualified staff to offer a micro chipping service.

While the majority of pets boarding with us settle in quickly and happily, it can be a confusing experience, therefore our staff are specially trained and experienced in helping newcomers settle in as quickly as possible. Our high ratio of staff to animals ensures we can spend lots of time with each new arrival and provide them with the highest standards of care throughout their stay.

We have a fully stocked pet food and accessory shop where we can offer a personal ordering service and provide free delivery on any orders over £10.00.  We stock all major good quality pet foods including Burns, James Wellbeloved, Chappie and Nature Diet.  We also have an excellent range of premium quality frozen meat and bones.

We stock a varied range of natural healthy treats ideal for training or simply spoiling your dog!

             Hours of business 7 days a week: 9:00am – 1:00pm & 2:00pm – 6:00pm

                                            Bank holidays: 9:00am – 1:00pm

             Closed to the public: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day
       

There is no need to make an appointment to inspect the kennels. We encourage you to visit us any time during our hours of business stated above.
